Our native flowering currant, with quite a few selections for sale nowadays. Flowers range from pure white, to shades of pink and red. Always early to flower, this plant feeds hummingbirds and other early pollinators. While it will occasionally seed in, it is never a problem. Best left unpruned, this plant is drought tolerant when established, and will grow in “difficult” sites.
