
Also known as Maianthemum stellata. Native to a majority of the US and Canada, this plant is tough, as it can take a wide variety of conditions. That said it does best with some afternoon shade, in a not too sandy soil, with a bit of supplemental watering (though not needed). The flowers are smaller, and not that showy. We’ve relegated it to the wilder stretches of the garden, as it will spread, with vigor.
