Uvularia grandiflora is native to the eastern portion of the United States, going up into Canada. This woodland plant thrives in the Northwest as long as the soil isn't too dry in the summer. In the garden here we have it planted in a mixed woodland setting. Flowering for about a month, this plant requires very little upkeep. It usually takes several years to get settled into a garden setting. We occasionally divide them in fall to increase the numbers as it does not seed in for us.
