Anemone x. hybrida 'Honorine Jobert' is an excellent form of Japanese Anemone. This selection dates from 1858 and is still widely planted. It usually takes several years to become established and once established is very long lived. The flowers of 'Honorine Jobert' can get up to six feet tall and will flower for a good three months, from midsummer through fall. At the gardens it is sited where it gets quite a bit of shade, yet thrives. These plants benefit from some summer watering.
