Anemone x. hybrida 'Prinz Heinrich' dates from 1902. Another excellent form, this one is grows a bit shorter than 'Honorine Jobert' (four to five feet in flower, versus up to six feet). Be aware that while these plants are slow to establish, when they are happily settled in they can be difficult to eradicate. This variety is sited along the drive, where it thrives even when run over by delivery trucks.
