Aconitum carmichaelii 'Kelmscott'
|
| Aconitum carmichaelii 'Kelmscott' goes by the common
name, Monkshood. This beautiful late summer into fall bloomer is a long-lived
perennial that does well in part shade or full sun. If well fed this plant
can get six feet high. This year it is shorter since it was moved from the
tennis court garden to the back of Ed's perennial border. The roots of this
plant are poisonous, which makes some people not want to plant it, a pity.
