Aster x. frikartii 'Monch'

| Aster x. frikartii 'Monch' is an excellent plant
for the perennial border, as it flowers for three to four months, starting
in mid to late summer. A bit slow to get established, this aster will live
for many years. Best to keep an eye out for cutworms in spring as this plant
is tasty. We have multiple clumps planted in Ed's perennial border. If in
good soil, with water and sun, the plant will get up to three feet by three
feet.
