Fuchsia magellanica 'Versicolor'
|
| Fuchsia magellanica 'Versicolor' is a hardy plant
for the maritime Northwest. The last three winters have been so mild that
this plant has acted like an evergreen shrub. Once established, hardy fuchsia
plants can tolerate being cut down to the ground, either by winter cold
or if they have outgrown their space. Hummingbirds love their flowers and
this plant has flowered for up to five months past years. Tolerant of full
sun or part shade, this plant is at the edge of Ed's perennial border.
