Mophead Hydrangea
|
| This mophead Hydrangea is one of many located in
the western woodland walk. Four years ago these now large plants were donated
to us in four inch pots. Given adequate summer watering, these plants have
thrived in the root zone of large doug firs. Certain varieties of mopheads
have thicker, tougher leaves such as 'Marechal Foch', while 'Nikko Blue'
is an ultra thin leafed form that isn't worth growing.
